Travis Mayor is the founder of Mayor Law, LLC, an Oregon personal injury law firm dedicated to helping injured people stand up to insurance companies and recover the compensation they deserve.
A native Oregonian raised in a family of respected attorneys, Travis carries on the tradition of practicing law and learned very early the importance of serving clients with wise legal analysis, advice, representation, and advocacy. Travis has spent more than twenty years representing clients in serious injury and wrongful death cases involving car crashes, drunk driving collisions, industrial accidents, unsafe property conditions, defective products, and commercial negligence claims. He has successfully resolved thousands of cases through settlement negotiations, mediation, arbitration, and jury trial.
What sets Travis apart is his insider knowledge of the insurance industry. He began his legal career defending insurance companies at a large Oregon defense firm, where he learned exactly how insurance carriers investigate claims, minimize payouts, and prepare cases for trial. He now uses that experience exclusively for injured individuals and families.
Graduating first in his class with summa cum laude honors, Travis earned his law degree in 2005 from the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law in Washington, D.C., ranked by U.S. News and World Report as one of the best law schools in the country for clinical education. He won his first jury trial as a second-year law student and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. As an undergraduate, Travis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University.
In 2015, Travis was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and as an Oregon Super Lawyer in 2026. Travis is also highly recommended by peers and has a prefect track record of 5-star reviews, according to the prominent lawyer directory, AVVO.
“I am focused and committed to fighting for every penny that my clients are entitled to. My practice is based upon excellence in representation, and making sure clients feel 100% confident and comfortable with me as their lawyer. Reputation is the most valuable asset a lawyer has.”
When he is not practicing law, Travis enjoys time with his wife Aryn and their three children. An Oregon college football “house-divided”, they enjoy watching both Beaver and Duck games and taking family trips to trips to Sunriver, the Oregon Coast, and Hawaii.
