Liz Walling is an associate attorney at Mayor Law, LLC, where she is dedicated to helping injured individuals and families navigate difficult times and recover the compensation they deserve. Her practice focuses on personal injury matters arising from motor vehicle collisions, premises liability claims, and other negligence cases.
Liz has built her career representing people whose lives have been disrupted by injury. Before joining Mayor Law, LLC, she practiced as a personal injury attorney with Black, Chapman, Petersen & Stevens in Southern Oregon, where she advocated for clients in a wide range of injury claims. Earlier in her career, she also worked at a workers’ compensation firm representing injured workers, giving her valuable experience helping clients through medical treatment issues, wage loss concerns, and the challenges that often follow a serious injury.
Liz began working in the personal injury field while still an undergraduate, serving as a legal assistant at a Seattle plaintiff-side law firm. That early experience confirmed her commitment to representing individuals rather than insurance companies or corporate defendants.
Liz earned her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law after transferring from Gonzaga University School of Law where she received the Dean’s Distinguished Achievement Scholarship. During law school, she worked as a law clerk and served as a research assistant for a law professor focusing on employment law. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Washington.
Clients appreciate Liz for her compassion, responsiveness, and steady advocacy. She understands that an injury claim is about more than a case file—it is about a person’s health, family, finances, and future.
Liz joined Mayor Law, LLC in 2020 after relocating to Portland with her husband to be closer to family. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and taking advantage of everything Oregon has to offer.
