For more than a decade, Lance Brooks has represented individuals and businesses in complex civil litigation matters throughout Oregon and Washington, with a strong focus on personal injury claims, premises liability cases, and trial advocacy. He is committed to protecting the rights of injured clients and pursuing the full compensation they are entitled to under the law.
Lance brings clients a unique advantage through his extensive experience on both sides of the courtroom. Prior to joining Mayor Law, LLC, Lance founded and operated a boutique litigation firm handling civil disputes involving title and escrow matters, motor vehicle collisions, and slip-and-fall injuries. He also practiced at Smith Freed Eberhard, where he defended insurance companies and businesses in premises liability and liquor liability cases. This defense background gives Lance valuable insight into how insurance carriers evaluate, defend, and attempt to minimize injury claims.
Lance has tried cases in both Oregon and Washington and has argued before the Oregon Court of Appeals. He also completed Multnomah County’s Jury Trial Experience Program, where he prosecuted criminal cases through the District Attorney’s Office to further develop his courtroom skills and trial experience.
Lance earned his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law, where he graduated in the top third of his class. While in law school, he served as a volunteer law clerk and peer tutor in Civil Procedure for first-year students. He also holds a degree in Business Administration and Management.

Originally from California, Lance spent part of his childhood in Australia before returning to the United States. Outside of work, he remains passionate about athletics and competition, including basketball, which he played at the collegiate level.
